Kidney Health In Communities Of Color

LiveOnNY is partnering with the Dennis Bligen Kidney Foundation to provide a webinar on kidney health and resources for those experiencing advanced kidney disease on Saturday, August 21st, 2021 at 12:00pm.
Diabetes and high blood pressure are the leading causes of kidney failure in people of African descent. In fact, in the greater New York City area, 75% of the transplant waiting list is comprised of people of color, 88% of whom are awaiting a new kidney. Together we can improve health outcomes in our communities.
