Southeast Queens Jam Fest will bring some of the community’s very best talent together for a free day of live music and entertainment. Here’s the lineup:
3:00PM – Steven Kroon: The electrifying Latin Jazz musician has performed with Luther Vandross, Ron Carter, Aretha Franklin, and Lady Gaga
4:30PM – Angels Caribbean Band: The band consists of a team of dynamic and talented musicians and singers from various Caribbean islands. The original concept behind the formation of this group is to promote and preserve Caribbean arts, culture and heritage.
5:30PM – Kofi Hunter: As an in-demand multi-percussionist Kofi has been given the opportunity to support some of the biggest names in music. Kofi hopes to challenge convention & build on the legacy of Black American Music that has been laid before him.
7:00PM – Barlett Contemporaries: is a legendary urban contemporary band with a fresh explosive sound. Throughout the years, they’ve performed for Oprah Winfrey, Essence, Miles Davis, Spike Lee and more, while highlighting phenomenal vocalists and exceptional instrumentalists.
