NYS EDUCATION FORUM
December 6, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Next Monday, December 6th, join me alongside my colleagues Assemblyman Khaleel Anderson and Councilwoman Selvena Brooks-Powers for an education forum! This will be an opportunity for the parents of Southeast Queens to speak one-on-one with their elected officials.
We will also have the Manhattan HS President Council and the Council Leadership Team (CLT) present to help us dive into two legislative bills Senator Sanders has sponsored within the Senate:
S7279 / A8196 – Establishes representative requirements for district leadership teams and school leadership teams
S7290 / A8194 – Establishes the citywide leadership team
We need as much parental engagement as possible, as we cannot enact change without the voice of the people.
