Rodnyese Bichotte, Assemblywoman and Kings County Democratic Chair
Assemblywoman Bichotte will be taking through the fundamental elements necessary to run for office, the importance of political identity and Message Development and Delivery – Translating your identity into a stump speech.

Martha Ayon – President, AZUL Public Solutions
Ms. Ayon will talk about how to build a base and how to activate it. You will learn how to convert Fans to Supporters. She will also provide an overview of the VAN software.

Tyquana Henderson – Rivers – President, Connective Strategies
Ms. Henderson-Rivers will discuss the process of building your campaign team. Additionally, she will provide an overview of C-Smart, Compliance, Ethics and Post-Campaign Compliance.

Michelle Akyempong, Vice President of Legislation & Political Activities of DC37- Social Service Employees Union- Local 371.
Ms. Akyempong will teach on the importance of labor endorsement, what does labor endorsement mean, and how to go about obtaining a labor endorsement.

Roslin Spigner, District Leader – Douglass-King Democratic Club
Ms. Spigner will discuss the importance of volunteering and allying with local civic organizations and political clubs. Ms. Spigner will teach on how to seek political club endorsements and the political club endorsement process.

Gregorio Mayers – Founder & CEO, GM Consulting
Mr. Mayers is a key advocate for New York City’s minority and women-owned business enterprises, helping craft a landmark 2013 city law as part of the Bloomberg administration.
