High School to Art School: Spring Session (Apply by February 20th)

This Spring Session will provide students interested in going to art college with an introduction to portfolio development, focusing on building students’ art vocabulary and observational drawing skills.
Eligibility: High School Juniors and Sophomores; Juniors will be given priority. Teens do not need to live in Queens; all students living in the Greater NYC area are eligible and encouraged to apply.
Free program: This is an entirely free program. If a student is accepted, they will receive a portfolio of free art supplies including but not limited to a sketchbook, graphite pencils, charcoal, and drawing paper to use throughout the program and keep thereafter.
Location: Classes will take place in persons at our new classroom in Long Island City, Queens (5-11 47th Avenue)
Notification: Students will be notified as to the status of their application by March 10, 2022.
Program runs Saturdays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm from March 19th through June 4th!
