12/10–Gooey Matter Get ready for a gooey adventure! Kids will explore the wacky world of solids, liquids, and gases. They’ll discover the super weird stuff called Oobleck, which acts like both a solid and a liquid. We’ll learn about normal fluids (Newtonian) and crazy fluids (Non-Newtonian). After listening to a fun Dr. Seuss story, everyone will make their own Oobleck and see the science in action!

1/14–Rockets Blast off into science! Design and launch your own rockets to see how high they fly. Tweak your rocket’s design, from its length to its fins, to achieve the best possible flight.

2/4–Cool Critters Bugged by the difference between insects and arachnids? Let’s investigate! We’ll examine live critters and learn to spot the key differences. Then, we’ll zoom in on beetles, following their life cycle and uncovering the cool adaptations that help them survive.
