Civil Service Jobseekers – The SUNY Queens EOC is hosting in collaboration with the NY State Department of Civil Service on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, two information sessions from (10:30 AM to 12:30 PM) and (1:30 PM to 3:30 PM):

CIVIL SERVICE JOBSEEKERS will receive valuable information on NY State Civil Service careers and the NY State Civil Service Merit System/employment process.

CIVIL SERVICE JOBSEEKERS will search through current NY State Civil Service job openings & apply-on-the-spot through the NY State Civil Service application.

CIVIL SERVICE JOBSEEKERS will receive resources to learn about the NY HELPS program which temporarily waives the NY State Civil Service exam requirements for specific NY state Civil Service positions.

CIVIL SERVICE JOBSEEKERS will learn about various NY State Civil Service exam requirements, job descriptions, required qualifications, and test formats.
