Queens Central Library At Sixty: Celebrating With Music Of Local Legends And An All-Star Cast

QPL’s Culture Connection is delighted to host Central Library’s 60th Anniversary Concert! To mark this milestone, there will be a tribute in song and verse to many music icons connected to Queens, such as Louis Armstrong, Burt Bacharach and Simon & Garfunkel. Under the direction of Andre Chez Lewis, the music will be re-imagined and performed by an all-star ensemble whose members represent a distinguished spectrum of artistic disciplines—including Broadway, jazz, R&B, gospel, calypso, Chinese fusion, performance art, and poetry.
