Opening Reception: Phenomenology Dream vs Reality

Phenomenology: Dream vs Reality is an exhibition curated by Alma Leya, based on the concept of one’s dream or expectation against reality.

The exhibition will display artwork reflecting the challenges, lessons, and/or experiences that one faces in real life, compared to the expectations they had in their mind. It is a natural phenomenon of human beings that, in any given situation, we create an exception or presumed environment for the outcome. Sometimes, reality appears to be different.

Additionally, there are times when the outcome is identical to the expected. These emotions and feelings are the main concept of the exhibition.
