Join the folks at the Idlewild Environmental Center for a free Roots & Shoots session exploring the connection between environmentalism and the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Youth will engage in meaningful discussion, reflection, and community-building, with light lunch and refreshments provided.
10:00 am to Noon – Stewardship w/ the NYC Parks Department
Noon to 12;30 – Light Lunch
12:30 pm to 2:00 pm – Discussion and Reflection
Appropriate for 13-20 year-olds.
