10:00am Keep Your Hand on the Plow: Faith on the Frontline

Rev. Joseph Robbins

Explore the historical and contemporary role of faith communities in the ongoing struggle for justice. Rev. Robbins will reflect on how spiritual resilience, prophetic leadership, and frontline ministry continue to shape resistance and renewal in times of crisis.

Study War No More: Resistance, Revolution, and Reconstruction

Rev. Erica Williams

This session examines the theology of resistance and the radical faith that fueled past revolutions—from abolition to civil rights—and how that legacy shapes our call to justice today. Rev. Williams will explore the spiritual roots of anti-violence and the strategic vision of faith-led movements for liberation.

Nobody Knows the Trouble I’ve Seen: Movements and Music

Rev. Dr. Willie Francois

Music has always been a vessel for the Black freedom struggle. Rev. Dr. Francois will lead a powerful session on the theology of sound—how spirituals, protest songs, and contemporary gospel empower movements, express lament, and sustain collective hope.

From Protest to Power: Nonviolence and Social Change

Min. Renaldo Pearson

Building on the legacies of nonviolent resistance, this session focuses on the strategies and structures needed to transform grassroots protest into lasting policy change. Min. Pearson will guide participants through practical steps to mobilize, organize, and institutionalize power in local and national contexts.

7:00pm Freedom Friday Live: Faith, Freedom, and the Future

An evening of worship, word, and witness featuring voices from across the justice movement. This main-stage gathering will lift up the collective vision for a liberated future through music, testimony, preaching, and a prophetic call to action

10:00am We Cry Justice: Power to the People

Rev. Dr. Freddie D. Haynes III

This closing session is a communal time of intercession, affirmation, and sending forth. Through powerful prayer, prophetic proclamation, and a commitment to public discipleship, Rev. Dr. Haynes will charge us to go forth with courage, compassion, and conviction to build a just world.
