Hands On History: March 7

March 7 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Free

Hands-on History is a free activity series every first and third Saturday of every month. Free! Check back for updates!

The Boston Massacre is largely regarded as the “start” of the American Revolution. One of the first casualties was Crispus Attucks, a Black and Indigenous American man who worked as a sailor and longshoreman. At King Manor, we will focus on how he spent his life. How did his work on ships impact his idea of liberty? Learn about the life of a sailor, sailor knots, and why it is important to remember Crispus Attucks. We will be teaming up with the USS Constitution and the Wavertree from South Street Seaport for this event.

Hands On History is always free, but registration helps us prepare!
