Free Legal Assistance In Your Community

Access to legal support shouldn’t depend on your income. That’s why my office is partnering with the New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) and the NY State Courts Access to Justice Program to bring free civil legal services directly to our community.
On Monday, December 1, the NYLAG Mobile Legal Help Center will be stationed at my district office from 10 AM to 3 PM. Residents can receive free assistance with housing matters, immigration, identity theft, consumer credit, public benefits, healthcare, disability issues, intimate partner violence, workers’ rights, and more.

If you or someone you know needs legal guidance but can’t afford an attorney, please take advantage of this resource. Our goal is to ensure every Southeast Queens family has access to the support and information they need.
