Community and Police Relations in Southeast Queens

January 22, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

The Eastern Queens Alliance, Inc. is sponsoring a critical conversation about Community and Police Relations in Southeast Queens. This is a topic about which all of us should be concerned. We urge you to attend our Zoom forum on Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

They anticipate having a deep conversation with a blue-ribbon, multi-disciplinary panel on this topic with a view towards coming away with some solid recommendations that will, if implemented, lead to positive changes in how the community, NYPD and other law enforcement entities interface with each other to improve neighborhood safety.

This forum is the first of several that they’ll be having in the community to help make our communities more sustainable, more livable, more idyllic places in which we truly want to reside and raise our families.

Registration required!

The discussion — moderated by Tunisia Morrison — will feature: Queens Deputy Borough President, Ebony Young; Executive ADA, Coleen Babb; New York Assembly Member Khaleel Anderson; NYPD Commander Ruben Beltran; Civilian Complaint Review Board Executive Director, Jonathan Darche; Retired NYPD Detective, Anthony Johnson; Life Camp Chief of Streets, A.U. Hogan; and 100 Suits Founder Kevin Livingston.
