Central Library Teen Center – Dr. MLK, Jr. Dream Speech Discussion And Writing Workshop
January 20 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Free

Teens are invited to join the Central Library Teen Center for a thoughtful discussion and writing workshop centered on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s iconic “I Have a Dream” speech. Together, we’ll explore the themes, historical context, and lasting impact of the speech, and reflect on what Dr. King’s vision means today. Teens will then participate in a guided writing activity, crafting their own “Dream” statements about justice, community, and the future they hope to see. No registration is required. This program is free and open to all teens and young adults ages 13 – 19 years old.
