AANHPI Month: Sunday Concerts @ Central, Miyabi Koto Shamisen Ensemble NY

The Miyabi Koto Shamisen Ensemble, led by Ms. Masayo Ishigure, features members of the Sawai Koto Academy. Their mission is to blend classical and jazz styles, showcasing the koto not only as a traditional Japanese instrument, but as one with universal expressive power. The ensemble has performed at numerous venues across the New York metropolitan area, the eastern United States, Hawaii, and South America.
